Our name
Tria Prima is a term from ancient alchemy, referring to the foundational elements of all things—animal, vegetable, and mineral. Alchemy, the precursor to modern chemistry, recognized the Tria Prima elements of salt, sulfur, and mercury as the common thread that connects all life on Earth. Loosely translated, Tria Prima represents body, mind, and spirit. When in harmony, these three treasures offer us a balanced existence.
Our Store
Located in downtown Williamsport, PA, The Tria Prima is a small-batch tea and bake shop offering a diverse selection of seasonal herbs, freshly prepared treats, and organic teas. Our specialty tea and herbal blends are recipes from our years of work as community herbalists. Treasured for flavor and feeling, our special recipes are loved for their unique blends that keep our customers coming back for more.
We feature locally produced gifts, tea accessories, vintage goods and a rotating gallery showcasing the work of local and independent artists.
Our Service
Our full service tea bar delivers delicious hand blended organic teas and tisanes, herbal elixirs, and other herbal preparations for your well being and pleasure. We offer a rotating variety of seasonal baked goods that are vegan and gluten free delights to tantalize any tastebuds. Our food and drink is 5 star rated⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We carefully source ingredients, raw materials, teas, herbs and paper goods to be free of chemicals and synthetic additives including gmo’s, pesticides, and toxic seed oils. We strive to be a clean non toxic environment and refrain from using fragrances, natural flavors, citric acid, or petroleum based products when possible. We work to create safety for those with autoimmune sensitivities and work with fair trade suppliers, family farms, and indepednet small businesses.
